Scope:This specification covers a free-machining, corrosion resistant steel in the form of cold worked bars and wire. 【摘要】:ThepurposeofthisTechnicalSpecificationistospecifyavalidationproceduretoshowifanAlternativeMethod(AM)canbeusedasanalternativetotheStandardReferenceMethod(SRM),bothimplementedtodeterminethesamemeasurand.Thisdocumenthasbeendrawnupforlaboratoriesworkinginairpollutionmeasurements(andconsequentlyexamplestakenfromthissectorareincludedintheappendices).Inparticular,thisTechnicalSpecificationprovidesthestatisticaltoolsanddifferentcriteriatoevaluatethealternativemethod;thisdoesnotreleasethepersonresponsibleforthisvalidationfrombearingtechnicalandanalyticaljudgementontheevaluationofthedifferentcriteria.Threestepsaredescribedinthevalidationprocedure:?descriptionoftheAMandsettingofthefieldofequivalence(rangeandtypeofgasmatrix);?determinationoftheperformancecharacteristicsoftheAMandcalculationoftheoveralluncertaintywhereappropriateandcheckofcomplianceofthemaximumoveralluncertaintyallowedfortheSRM;?checkofrepeatabilityandlackofsystematicdeviationoftheAMinthefieldincomparisonwiththeSRMforthetypeofmatrixdefinedinthefieldofequivalence.NOTESomepartsofthesecondstepofthevalidationofthealternativemethodshouldbeperformedbyarecognisedtest-house.IftheAMfulfilstherequirementoftheprocedure,thenthelaboratorythatcarriedoutthewholevalidationprocessisallowedtouseitasaSRMinthefieldapplicationwheretheequivalencehasbeendemonstrated.However,ifthevalidationprocessinvolvesatleast4differentaccreditedlaboratoriesperformingsimultaneouslyparallelmeasurementsinthefield,andiftheAMpasseswithsuccessallthetestsoftheprocedure,thenthismethodcouldbeproposedtoCEN,whocandecidetoconsiderthisAMasanewreferencemethod(ARM).Theuseofthisprocedureimpliesthatareferencemethodhasbeendefinedbytheregulatororinacontractandhasbeenvalidated.ThisTechnicalSpecificationonlyconsidersthecaseoflinearquantitativemethods.
