【摘要】:1.1Thistestmethodcoversthecalibrationofultravioletlight-measuringradiometerspossessingeithernarrow-orbroad-bandspectralresponsedistributionsusingeitherascanningoralinear-diode-arrayspectroradiometerastheprimaryreferenceinstrument.Fortransferofcalibrationfromradiometerscalibratedbythistestmethodtootherinstruments,TestMethodE824shouldbeused.Note1Specialprecautionsmustbetakenwhenadiode-arrayspectroradiometerisemployedinthecalibrationoffilterradiometershavingspectralresponsedistributionsbelow320-nmwavelength.Suchprecautionsaredescribedindetailinsubsequentsectionsofthistestmethod.1.2Thistestmethodislimitedtocalibrationsofradiometersagainstlightsourcesthattheradiometerswillbeusedtomeasureduringfielduse.Note2Forexample,anultravioletradiometercalibratedagainstnaturalsunlightcannotbeemployedtomeasurethetotalultravioletirradianceofafluorescentultravioletlamp.1.3Calibrationsperformedusingthistestmethodmaybeagainstnaturalsunlight,Xenon-arcburners,metalhalideburners,tungstenandtungsten-halogenlamps,fluorescentlamps,etc.1.4Radiometersthatmaybecalibratedbythistestmethodincludenarrow-,broad-,andwide-bandultravioletradiometers,andnarrow-,broad,andwide-bandvisible-region-onlyradiometers,orradiometershavingwavelengthresponsedistributionsthatfallintoboththeultravioletandvisibleregions.Note3Forpurposesofthistestmethod,narrow-bandradiometersarethosewith20nm,broad-bandradiometersarethosewith20nm70nm,andwide-bandradiometersarethosewith70nm.Note4Forpurposesofthistestmethod,theultravioletregionisdefinedastheregionfrom285to400-nmwavelength,andthevisibleregionisdefinedastheregionfrom400to750-nmwavelength.TheultravioletregionisfurtherdefinedasbeingeitherUV-Awithradiationofwavelengthsfrom315to400nm,orUV-Bwithradiationfrom285to315-nmwavelength.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
