【摘要】:1.1Thisspecificationcoversasphaltcementsthathavebeenmodifiedbytheadditionofachemicalgellant.Itwasdevelopedtoprovideareferenceforspecifyingchemicallymodifiedasphaltcementandreflectsthepropertiesofcurrentlyavailablecommercialproducts.Thetestsareintendedtomeasuredegreeofmodificationnotperformancecharacteristics.Thisisnotintendedtobeaperformancex2013;basedspecification.1.2Chemicallymodifiedasphaltcementsarenormallyproducedbyadditionofachemicalstabilizer.However,anyasphaltmodifiermaybeusedthatwillgivetherequiredtestresultswhenblendedwiththedesiredasphalt.1.3ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Nootherunitsofmeasurementareincludedinthisstandard.1.4Thefollowingprecautionarystatementpertainstothetestmethodportiononly,Section5,ofthisspecification:Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
