【摘要】:ThispartofISO639providesacode,publishedbytheRegistrationAuthorityofISO639-3,consistingoflanguagecodeelementscomprisingthree-letterlanguageidentifiersfortherepresentationoflanguages.ThelanguageidentifiersaccordingtothispartofISO639weredevisedforuseinawiderangeofapplications,especiallyincomputersystems,wherethereispotentialneedtosupportalargenumberofthelanguagesthatareknowntohaveeverexisted.WhereasISO639-1andISO639-2areintendedtofocusonthemajorlanguagesoftheworldthataremostfrequentlyrepresentedinthetotalbodyoftheworld'sliterature,thispartofISO639attemptstoprovideascompleteanenumerationoflanguagesaspossible,includingliving,extinct,ancientandconstructedlanguages,whethermajororminor,writtenorunwritten.Asaresult,thispartofISO639dealswithaverylargenumberoflesser-knownlanguages.Languagesdesignedexclusivelyformachineuse,suchascomputer-programminglanguagesandreconstructedlanguages,arenotincludedinthiscode.Knowledgeoftheworld'slanguagesatanygiventimeisnevercompleteorperfect.AdditionallanguageidentifiersmaybecreatedforthislistwhenitbecomesapparentthatthereisalinguisticvarietythatisdeemedtobedistinctfromotherlanguagesinaccordancewiththedefinitionsinClause3andtheirelaborationinClause4.Inaddition,thedenotationofexistingidentifiersmayberevisedoridentifiersmaybecomedeprecatedwhenitbecomesapparentthattheydonotaccuratelyreflectactuallanguagedistinctions.Inallsuchchanges,carefulconsiderationisgiventominimizeadverseeffectsonexistingimplementations.
