【摘要】:Thesepracticescovertheevaluationofallplasticmaterialsincludingcast,hot-molded,cold-molded,laminatedresinousproducts,andsheetmaterialsforresistancetochemicalreagents.Thesepracticesincludeprovisionsforreportingchangesinweight,dimensions,appearance,andstrengthproperties.Standardreagentsarespecifiedtoestablishresultsonacomparablebasis.Provisionsaremadeforvariousexposuretimes,stressconditions,andexposuretoreagentsatelevatedtemperatures.Thetypeofconditioning(immersionorwetpatch)dependsupontheend-useofthematerial.Ifusedasacontainerortransferline,specimensshouldbeimmersed.Ifthematerialwillonlyseeshortexposuresorwillbeusedincloseproximityandreagentmaysplashorspillonthematerial,thewetpatchmethodofapplyingreagentshouldbeused.Theeffectofchemicalreagentsonotherpropertiesshallbedeterminedbymakingmeasurementsonstandardspecimensforsuchtestsbeforeandafterimmersionorstress,orboth,ifsotested.ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Thevaluesgiveninbracketsareforinformationonly.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.SpecifichazardsstatementsaregiveninSection7.Note1ThisstandardandISO22088Part3addressthesamesubjectmatter,butdifferintechnicalcontent(andtheresultscannotbedirectlycomparedbetweenthetwotestmethods).
