本部分描述了检查试验机主要功能的直接检验法和适合于测定试验机重复性的间接检验法。除直接检验法外，间接检验法也用于使用中的试验机例行的周期检验。
对于每种试验方法应单独对试验机进行间接检验。本部分也适用于便携式试验机。
